Hit up DimeCityCycles today for a sweet cafe seat and retro grips...

Looks like I ordered the last one...Sorry guys! The seat is so nice and I thought it was super easy to install...I just welded some tabs on to my rear loop and bolted it right on...I also welded a bar across the front so the seat clips in the front had something to slide under... had to re-weld my tail light mount on top so that the light is between the loop and seat...
Tucked all the wires, battery, rectifier, etc under the seat...used Velcro instead of bolting the rectifier and the electronics to the pan...
Stuffed some foam in between the battery and the side covers...battery does not move! Was trying to come up with inspiration for some side covers...went to http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/index.aspx and came home with some textured plastic...but like many trial and error ideas, it did not work out...I ended up just welding metal to the side and then sanding, filling, and painting...turned out pretty good for novice and a harbor freight $80 buck welder.
Little primer and black paint...added some hose to the top of the covers...moved the rectifier up (another idea that did not work out)...
Next was trying to figure out what kind of tank badge I wanted... eBay! First one did not work out...
Ended up going with a Chrysler 200 S emblem...got two on eBay for $26 bucks...very nice with inlaid black...very subtle...I like it!
I think she is done pretty much...All I have left is reworking the front rim to match the black back rim...no rush on that one...
